Having integrity is like always having your bank account reconciled.
Well it is similar anyway.
- always knowing your balance (where you "stand" in relationships to others)
- always knowing how large a check you can write...if you need to
- always having a reminder that you have an asset...and reciprocally, an awareness of the integrity of others lets you grasp whether transacting with them is worthwhile or potentially risky
Integrity is the measure of quality of communication, relationships and transactions. It's hopefully the glisten of the gold and not the "ooh that smell". It can be a great help in navigating to continuing success.
